SCAFFOLD AUDITS & TESTING

Scaffold inspection services built around your site.

From recurring weekly inspections to one-off scaffold inspections and on-site anchor pull testing, Apex provides a straightforward service for contractors, site teams and project managers.

SERVICES

Three core ways we can help

01 — Weekly Scaffold Inspections
Recurring inspection support for active projects.

02 — One-Off Scaffold Inspections
A standalone inspection when required.

03 — Anchor Pull Testing
On-site testing of scaffold anchors where required.

AUDITS

Flexible inspection support for ongoing and one-off requirements.

The information supplied identifies three key services: weekly scaffold inspections, one-off scaffold inspections and anchor pull testing on site. This Apex page is built around those services without adding unsupported accreditations or technical claims.

A simple service model

Choose recurring inspections for an active project, arrange a one-off inspection when you need a standalone site visit, or speak to Apex about anchor pull testing requirements.

OUR SERVICES

Scaffold audits & on-site testing

Choose the service that best matches the needs of your project.

01

Weekly Scaffold Inspections

For projects requiring a recurring inspection schedule, Apex can provide weekly scaffold inspection support to help site teams maintain a consistent inspection record throughout the relevant period of use.
02

One-Off Scaffold Inspections

A single scaffold inspection can be arranged where a project needs a standalone visit rather than an ongoing weekly service.
03

Anchor Pull Testing On Site

Apex can provide on-site anchor pull testing where required. The exact anchor type, test requirement and relevant project information should be confirmed before attendance.
WEEKLY INSPECTIONS

Consistency across an active project.

Where a project requires recurring scaffold inspections, a planned weekly service can make the process easier to manage. Site and scaffold references can be kept consistent while each visit creates a separate inspection record.

Additional inspections may still be required following substantial alteration or events likely to affect safety or stability.

01

Plan

Confirm project, scaffold, site and inspection requirements.
02

Inspect

Carry out the agreed site inspection and record relevant findings.
03

Record

Create a clear inspection record for the relevant project contact.
04

Repeat

Continue the agreed recurring inspection schedule while required.
ONE-OFF INSPECTIONS

Need a single scaffold inspection?

Not every project needs a recurring arrangement. Apex can also attend for a one-off scaffold inspection when a standalone visit is more appropriate.

A flexible option

  • Standalone inspection requirements
  • Additional project checks
  • Specific scaffold or site areas
  • Projects where an ongoing weekly service is not required
ANCHOR PULL TESTING

On-site testing where the project requires it.

Anchor pull testing applies a controlled test load to an installed fixing or anchor. For scaffold applications, the testing scope should be based on the relevant anchor, substrate, design or compliance requirements and the project information supplied.

Because requirements vary, Apex should confirm the scope before attendance.

Before booking, tell us:

  • Site address and postcode
  • Project / scaffold reference
  • Anchor or fixing type, if known
  • Substrate, if known
  • Quantity requiring testing
  • Any design or testing information available
REPORTING

Clear records for the project team.

The reference supplied shows an inspection report containing site details, inspector information, date and time, scaffold information and job photographs. Apex’s exact report format should be confirmed before making more specific claims.

01

Site details

Project and location information.
02

Inspection / test reference

Identification of the relevant scaffold, area or test.
03

Findings

Relevant inspection observations or test information.
04

Digital record

A structured record that can be retained with project information.
